Two months old already. Time is just flying by. He just had his two month check up and all is good. 12 lbs and 5 oz, mommy's milk is doing him good. He is now 23.75 inches long. He is now starting to be a lot more aware of his surroundings and will follow you as you walk by him.

Kat and Jacque are having a fun time at their daddy's house. They really enjoyed their time with their Papa.

And for those who do not have the back bone to sign their name to their comments, Grow Up and move on with your lives.

The girls got to go to their first circus today. They both loved it. Jacque really liked the popcorn and Kat kept wanting to know what was going to happen next...lol. They both liked that big cats, the dogs, and the horses and camels. Kat covered her eyes when the man was doing his balancing act on chairs stacked up. Jacque liked it when they lit the hoop on fire so that the tigers could jump though it. Over all they really liked it and Jacque kept saying that she wanted to go back and see it again. :)

Long time with no updates posted but many to mention, lol. Lets see since my last post Kat has turned five (what a house full), she lost her two bottom teeth and her "sharp" ones have grown in, Jacque has slowed down on the biting (only about once every 2 weeks but she makes those ones count). We have been working on her using her words to tell her friends that she doesn't like something or to ask them to stop. In her mind that means she gets to yell "I don't like that, I don't like that" at her friends and her sister. But it does really seem to help with her not biting.

Kat is in pre-k but is bored as its not challenging to her, so she has found other ways to pass the time, talking to her friends, lol. So already behaivor modification has started at home so that she knows it is not alright to talk during class and there are plenty of times during the rest of the day to talk and play with her friends. Since the talk she has been doing very well, lets just hope that all other issues are solved just as easily :)

Kat went in for her eye exam and got a new perscription. So we went out glasses hunting and found some Hannah Montana frames and since she is always wanting sun glasses I just went ahead and got her the transition lenses. She really likes them so far. She goes back the end of April for a check up to see how the new perscription is working for her.

Jacque went in for her first dental exam. The place that I took her too was awsome. They did everything to make her feel as comfortable as possible. She got to wear cool sunglasses and even got her nails painted. They both go in the begining of April for a cleaning. Kat can't wait, she wants her nails painted too, lol.

Jacque is now the big 2. Starting the potty training thing but she isn't too interested in it as a regular thing. Last night though she did ask to go potty, but it just ended up a sitting for a little bit and then wipe and flush. She has all of the steps down just not always the action that goes with it, lol.

She is also my little parrot. Not only does she repeat what you say she says it about three or four times. Have to watch what I say, I don't want another "stupid people" incident like I did with Kat.

Since I have been home, we have been very busy. First there was moving into our new place and then there was Jacque's second birthday. Of course we had no furniture so the made the house seem kind of empty, good thing there is a park right by the house and they have picnic tables so we had some place to eat the cake and open presents. Auntie Sherrie, Amy, Elisa, Auntie Pammie, Alanna, Lucy, Uncle Ed, Kobe, Eddie, and Emidio were all there. It was a beautiful day.

About two weeks later Kat, Jacque and I went down to see everyone down south. We spent one night at G & G's and then one night at each of the aunts houses. Amy, the girls and I went shopping at the mall. Always very fun. On the 24th of Sept the girls started their new daycare on post. We were very lucky to have gotten spots so quickly there. They seem to really like there. The first week there went very smoothly, no crying from Jacque when I dropped her off plus no biting from her either. Kat made friends very quickly and was talking about them like she had know them for ever, lol. Unfortunately with Jacque she is back up to her old tricks and bites about every day. So... we will see what will happen with that. I hope that we can figure something out soon.

Wow, there has been so much that has happened since the last time that I posted. Lets see, Jacque got kicked out of one daycare for biting. So my mom watched her for about a month. She found one that would take a known biter, lol. Kat started pre-school and loves it. She also has dance, gymnastics, and swimming at her school. She had her first dance recital last Friday. I can't wait to see the video that Tanya took of it. She is quite the writer now, writing her name and her friends names. Counting up to 20 and knows her alphabet too. Jacque on the other hand is proving to be a bit accident prone. She has had two trips to the emergency room this past month. One was at school she got pushed and hit her head on the corner of a door(possible retaliation for biting, lol). A bit of glue later and she got sent home. Then almost two weeks ago she fell at my mom's and broke her radial bone in her hand/wrist. It turns out that it was a green stick fracture and so she now has a cast on it for the next three weeks. She acts like it has always been in a cast and has no problems with it. Both times at the hospital she just sat and watched what was going on, she was very good.

Well both girls had their birthday. Jacque loved her cake and Kat loved looking at her cake, lol. Jacque celebrated her's a little early so that her daddy could be there for it. And Kat had to do her's just a little late. I couldn't get leave early enough to be home for it. All in all though they had a great time
Kat is learning how to write and count at school, she loves it there. Jacque is walking trying to run but still too wobbly for it. She has been biting at daycare so I have a meeting with the directors next week to figure out how to stop it. She doesn't do it at home but at daycare it might be like 5 times a day. So other then that not much is happening.

Well it has been a long while since we last posted. Sorry about the length of time but we have been very busy. In the last month Kat has got new glasses, she can see much better now and her left eye does what it is suppose to. Jacque is still growing bigger. She is a very happy baby. Geoff's mom and sister Kelli came for a short visit. Natalie is back in the Army. Well just wanted to give a quick summery. We will post more later.

Well it has been a very long time since I added anything to our blog, so I figured that I should before both girls graduate from high school. ;)
Jacque has been trying to eat us out of house and home. When she finally found a formula that she liked she started to drink about 16 - 24 oz a day, 4 oz at a time. Now she is drinking 7 to 8 oz at a time, she loves her food. So we have started her on some solids, green beans, sweet potatoes, and cereal. Most of the time I can't get it to her mouth fast enough. She has her 4 month check up on the 19th of this month so we will see where she is at.
Kat is as crazy as ever. She loved going to her Papa's house for Christmas. Both of the girls were great on the plane trip down there. Jacque slept most of the time and Kat played and slept. We were lucky our plane went through Phoneix instead of Colorado. We missed the snow storm, YEAH.
It was very relaxing to be in NM. Geoff ran me several times but still was nice to be there, lol. The whole time we were there it was sunny unlike the weather back in WA.

Well, this past month has been busy. We got Jacque's ears pierced at the beginning of the month. She did very well. She didn't scream as much as Kat did. She was more upset that Geoff had to hold her tight. After he let her go she stopped crying.
After weeks of rain we got predictions of snow right before Thanksgiving. As we were driving down there was some snow already high up on the hills. Of course with all of the rain the waterfalls were very full and beautiful.
We finally got snow on Sunday night here in Tacoma. So driving has turned even worse. Geoff didn't have to go into work untill 0830 today because there was even more snow and of course anything that had melted yesterday was now ice today.
Kat went out to play in the snow. She didn't last out there very long before it got to cold for her. She hasn't had very many chances to play or really see snow in her short life, so she isn't too sure what to do with it.

Halloween, what fun. Kat was a princess and played the part all too well. We went trick-or-treating at the Puyallup mall. We went there last year but Kat really didn't know what was going on. This year all she knew was that she could ask people for candy, and if she stood in front of them long enough they would give her more. She was very serious about it no smiles and very quite "thank yous". Jacque was asleep the whole time. She was tigger.
Jacque had her two month check-up on the 3rd of Nov. She is 11 lbs 11 oz and 22.5 inches long. She is in the 75% for weight and 50% for length. Already bigger then Kat was at two months. Jacque is such a morning baby. She is all smiles and coos. She loves to sit up straight, no leaning back for her.

Ah, the joys of having a three year old. Kat is more bossy and you can now understand all of her commands. For example when we sang "Happy Birthday" to her she was telling everyone to stop, hand gestures and all. That was after we had lit her candles three times. She kept blowing them out before we could sing to her. She also loved getting birthday presents. After she had opened her last one she asked for "more please". But with the whole pinata thing, she was like, whatever. She was happy to get the candy after someone else broke it.
Jacque is getting bigger, clothing that is newborn doesn't fit and some of the 0-3 months stuff doesn't fit either. In fact size two diapers are on the next shopping list. She has her 2 months check up on the 2nd of Nov. It will be interesting to see which percentile she is in. Kat, at her three year check-up, is in the 25% for weight(29lbs) and about the 15% (3 feet)for heighth. Her little sister is going to out grow her, or so we think.

Just a quick update. Kat is having great success in potty training. We started last Friday and now she is wearing panties. She even wore panties last night to bed (by mistake) and they were still dry this morning. So we will see if it continues. She has stopped asking to wear a diaper, she liked to wear them because she knew they were easier. She doesn't have to think when she is wearing them. So maybe before her third b-day she might be totally potty trained. ;)

This past weekend we (Kat, Jacque, and I) went down to Vancouver, WA to see my grandparents and so that my family could have a chance to see Jacque before she got to big.
She was held by great-grandparents, 4 great-aunts, 1 great-uncle, and 2 cousins. Of course every hold was supervised by her grandma, "mama", and her older sister. She enjoyed all the attention that was showered upon her. She also now thinks that talking is just opening her mouth really wide and then closing it. No sounds come out though.
Also this past week Jacque had her first bath in her little tub. She really likes being in the water. Kat likes to stand right at the tub and make sure everything is going just right. In fact Kat like to make sure that her little sister is happy no matter where she is, Kat will provide the entertainment. Jacque reconizes her sister's voice and will look in that direction and kind of smile.

Ahh, it was so nice to get away and smell some of the freshest air to be found around here. We took a four hour drive north-east of us up into the mountains to a resort. We went from sea-level to 4,000 ft. There was fresh snow on the ground as we went over the mountains on Hwy 20. It even snowed on the pass the night we were there, though none at the resort itself. Beautiful grounds to walk around on, lots of trails. We didn't go far as it was getting dark and sprinkling off and on. The food was excelent (if it hadn't been, there wasn't any other place to eat so we would have been out of luck). Our room over looked the lake/pond that was there, a very peacefully veiw.
Geoff enjoyed the fresh air and his cigar. Kat rode her bike around, her legs are now long enough to reach the pedals. Jacque enjoyed the peace and quiet by sleeping, what a suprise. :)

This past weekend we all went to the Puyallup Fair. Friday was the cattle drive and parade. Saw some beautiful horses. After the parade we got into the fair for free. Kat got to ride her first roller coaster. She loved it. After we left the fair she continued to talk about riding the Dragon ( the roller coaster was a Dragon). She would sit on her chair and then the ride would "start" and she would scream.
Sunday we went back to see the Pro rodeo finals. It was fun to watch. Only one guy lasted 8 seconds on the bull, everyone else got thrown off. They had some very good bulls and bronco that gave the cowboys some good challenges.
Both days Jacque slept the whole time. She is still too young to really appreciate outings.

Well we hope everyone will enjoy the website as a way to keep up with our busy and growing family. We will try to keep it updated as often as possible. JW and Sara use this site and it is great, we always get to see how Brady is doing.

13 Sept was Jacque's 2 week check up. She is now 9 pounds! Her and Natalie are both doing very well.

Kat is addapting very well to being a big sister. She is more helpful than we could have ever imagined. Kat turns 3 in less than 2 months.
